Following the success of the 1st Mediterranean Yacht Show in 2014, the Greek Yachting Association (GYA) organized the 2nd Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) which took place from May 2nd to May 6th, 2015 in Nafplion.
Attendance to the show was further increased with most world renowned firms in the yachting industry participating and attending brokers collectively confirming that the Mediterranean Yacht Show is by now a well-established and widely recognized leading exhibition of crewed commercial yachts on an international level.
The success of the 2nd Mediterranean Yacht Show exceeded all expectations, setting Nafplion at the center of the yachting community's attention for its entire duration, as is well proven by numbers:
- 67 crewed luxury yachts and 17 pavilions for equipment and services relevant to the yachting industry were placed on exhibition,
- visited by 242 yacht brokers from all over the world including Antigua, Barbuda, Australia, British Virgin Islands, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Italy, Israel, Turkey, Monaco, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom , United States America,
- covered by numerous Greek and foreign media.
Evaluation of Istion yachts by attending brokers on all main parameters of
- overall condition,
- accommodation,
- equipment, and
- crew
yielded an amazing average rating of 9.8 on a scale of 10!!!!
Foreign Brokers specifically commented that the assortment of yachts on display was amongst the best on a yacht show and crews were evaluated as highly qualified making, brokers deemed their visit truly worthwhile due to the quality of yachts and crews on offer.
